I'm going to try my hand at this old Andrea 54mm Knight 1325 figure . It's been sometime since I've painted a figure . I've primed it and undercoated in black . I'm using an old Del Prado figure to work out some colour schemes and metal finishes before starting on the actual figure , hopefully this will save stripping back to many times .

Is it white metal Chippy? If it is, you can burnish the armour with a pin or similar till you have the shine you want then seal it with a varnish, adding blue/black wash to suit if needed
