    Sorry , for the delay.

I had no digital camera and had to wait for taking some new pictures.
The figure is roughly shaped and I spent a few hours to get the position of the figure. You're right Maryn this is far the most dificult part of it all.
It is importend to let the setting grow together with the figure . Because one of the arms is fixed to the rigging of the ship I had to get the arm correct .
The blouse is done exept for the buttons ( I fix them at the end ) and I have to continue with the trousers and the coat.
Part of his officers uniform is also visible under the coat at the right side. Because of the dark colours in the original movie still I almost mised it.

detail from the torso and the head ( the original hair style is removed and will be remodeled with brown stuff)

    Backside .

I used milliput to get the first shape ( above the wired sklelet) into the figure and the finishing is done with
magic sculp, brown stuff and green stuff.
Below I found a few interesting url's with detailled information about sculpting media.

The crotch/pelvic areas are really large. Are you going to carve this down at all?~Gary

I have to continue this area . Sanding and cutting the legs to the correct size.
    The trousers aren't finished.
The left side of the figure wil be covered by the coat so details are not done there because the half is not visible.
