Hi all, this is my first conversion. He is col. Pal Maleter, an important figure during the hungarian uprising. I used tamiyas figure and magic scalp.
    What do you think?

Nice conversion and a good choice for a figure! It may be the photos, but the eyebrows look too high. Eyebrows follow the upper arch of the eye socket pretty closely. You also may have made them too thick and regular. Usually eyebrows taper at both ends but yours are very blunt.

Keep at it! I look forward to seeing how you complete the figure.

    All the best,
    Dan

At the risk of boring you to tears on the subject of eyebrows, here are some examples. Some thick, some thin, some with blunt ends, some narrower on the ends.

As you can see they all follow the upper eye socket.

Some people say leave eyebrows off, you couldn't really see them even at 120mm, but I don't really agree. [Probably p###ing off several sculptors far more accomplished than myself - sorry folks, just my opinion.] I really like putting them on 120mm, probably on most 90mm. Probably not most 75 or 80mm and 54mm, I would almost always agree - a waste of time.

    All the best,
    Dan
