    Hi!.

This is a conversion work made over "Force Recon" figure, produced by the excellent brand Airborne Miniatures.

These are some pictures from about 4 years ago. Some things have been improved in their equipment.

    This is where all started:

The main list of changes is the following:

    - New head and helmet (from another Airborne Miniatures figure...thanks Maciej!!)
    - Converting the ACH helmet into a MICH 2002 and the normal NVG mount into a Norotos mount
    - Converting the Peltor Comtac into MSA Sordin Supreme Pro
    - Modeling the shemagh
    - Resculpting the vest into a RAV vest
    - Adding some new pouches and accesories (CAT tourniquet, trauma shears, Beretta PX4 and SERPA holster, etc)
    - Converting the Nomex flight suit into an ACU
    - Converting Nomex gloves into Mechanix Mpact
    - Resculpting the boots into Lowa Zephyr
    - Sculpting a Harris radio

And then started the painting stage. I´m only using Humbrol and Model Master enamels. Hope you like the results so far.

Little progress, starting to paint the ACU. Allthe following steps were done with airbrush.

Priming was done with Model Master (MM) flat black. Then was i applied thin layers of Humbrol (H) 121 from the top of the figure. After that came the first shadow, mixing H121 and H98, which was apllied from below the figure.
The first light was done with H121 mixed with MM flat white. Now, the mix was airbrushed from the top.

The base tones were airbrushed. All the camo scheme just with brush.

    Glad you like it!

Vest painted by airbrush. Base is H91, lighting with H116 and H117.

Helmet and M4 painted with H121 as base with H160 and MM flat black blots. Snake camo was achieved with 1/35 mesh. Some chipping was done with the salt technique.

Finally, pistol and canteen, conveniently attached to a pair of toothpicks.
