    Hello Guys,

Finally i finished something. For the first time i did a small vignette. This one is researched by the internet and the Osprey books.
The battle of Towton (maybe the bloodiest fight ever, in total there where about 30.000 man killed) took place in 1461 on March 29. It was a battle off the famous War of the Roses.
It was Palm Sunday and it was a frozen, kold and snowey day. This the run from to sloop for there live into the direction of the River Cock.
Most of the man were died when falling into the freezing water.

Whell, i visualised this and made my vignette. I used two 1st Guard figures (both hellbardiers) and painted them with the colorplate in the Osprey as a guide.
The water is clear resin, with some wave's to look windy.
I hope i succeed in my own cruisade.
    So, comments are welcome.
    Here are the pictures.

I had thought about doing the exact same piece (some interest in the War of the Roses and these figures go together so well). Glad you succeeded in your plan. The piece looks fantastic. How did you do the snow.

    Thank you very much.
The snow is Natriumbicarbonaat (NaHCO3). I buy it with the pharmacie for about € 5,- for 100 gram.
It is just the same as bakingpowder put the pure stuff. You get no yellowing after 5 years.
I make some white glue + water and put it into places where i want the snow.
Then i put on those places some Natriumbicarbonaat. After one hour drying i go again with the powder. In my opinion it looks very realistic.

Great work, Marc, those guys look really cold! I like how you depicted their worn out faces, and red noses.

    Cheers,

    Nemanja
