Hi planeteers and happy new year to ya all

My new-year's good resolutions drove me back to paintbrushes with the firm will to complete a figure soon. I've chosen the classic "LAH at Kharkov" from Alpine Miniatures, with swap of the head for another Alpine one (I wanted a soft-peak cap to bring some colors).

Here's the start; hopefully I'll be able to post more progress soon. Hope you like it:

Wow! My eye is confused. The face and cap resemble artwork by the gifted Kevin Lyles somehow affixed to a figure! I agree, definitely a great start and I can only imagine how the rest would look !!

Nice smooth paint stroke u had. This figure u won't get bored painting them... Coz the scarf it self you can have dozen combo... Haha!

That's looking really nice so far, love both the camo and scarf. I'm thinking I'll be needing to do some of the camo down the rrack as I have a 1/35 Dragon tiger coming so a little dio with some of these uniforms possibly. Oh bloody hell I've just realised the figures are going to be 1/35th as well, god making life hard. Anyway great work there will be enjoying the progress.
