    hello planetfriends :)

    I finally finished the bust with some small modifications
    here are some photos, you can find more pictures on my blog or on google+

    To get the skin tone I used purple, put in small doses over the base color and in larger amounts in the shadows.

    These mixes are used (unfortunately, I do not have the habit of taking notes. However, there is a positive side: not "fossilize" the usual hue and always look for new results)

    basic acrylic colors: flesh + brown + blue + white + red

    Having laid the foundation, I used the oil paint, creating a mixture similar to that of the baseand I spread over the entire face,
    this is the mix: flesh +yellow ocher + naples yellow bright + red mars + sienna + purple

    the lights were made ​​using bright Naples yellow, whiteand flesh .
    the shadows with a mix of sienna, purple and a bit of lacquer madder (also used to give a touch of rouge on her cheeks and the tip of the nose)

    I laid out to blend the colors I used on the face of flat synthetic brushes.

    What a wonderful piece of work Maurizio. Really well painted and displayed. The skim tone you have acheived is superb. Now I will have to try using purple on faces.
