Young Miniatures Lucky Jack Update

    Hi Guys this is the progress I have made on the bust. The face,hat,shirt and waistcoat are finished for now still some smaller details to do such as the buttons.Let me know what you think.Hope to start work on the jacket in the next couple of days.

    Yes very nice, one step closer to perfection;), a real stunning piece of painting. I am going to start using your flesh colour scheme on mine tonight. That waistcoat is superb, what was your colour mix and application technique for this?

    Thanks Tommi, let me know how you get on with the flesh mix.The mix for the waistcoat is Burnt Umber,Buff Titanium and Titanium White painted wet on wet over a Humbrol undercoat of 250.

    amazing flesh colour througtout the whole face and very nice depicted area of moustache shaving. I like the colour and shading of the waiscoat.

    Hi Dave, a lovely job as usual, I love the eyes they really look as though they been affected by the salt spray you would get on the deck of a man of war in heavy weather. I hope to see you and this super piece at Euro.
