Here are a couple of pics of my latest figure. I started this ages ago but stalled when it came to painting the tiger stripe camo. This is my first real attempt at painting camouflage. Hope you like it!

A beautiful little scene and you really did nail the camo.
That was probably a good decision to set it aside and then come back to it when you felt more confident.

A beautiful figure Edward! The camo and overall painting are very well done. What helps to really set it off, for me, is the groundwork and overall composition. Without any doubt to the viewer, it places him in the jungle environment where he belongs without being overly complex and taking away from the figure. Even the placement of the tree looming over him makes it look like he is moving through the jungle and not just standing in a field next to a tree. Adds quite a bit of drama to the scene. Sounds like I'm getting carried away but I really like it and it's not even a period I usually visit.;)

    Nicely done,

...and not a trench in sight. I never would have recognised it as a Sage piece!

Seriously though, this illustrates the value of leaving a piece alone when your enthusiasm has run out of steam and returning to it when you feel like it.
A good job all round mate.
