    Hello,

I have prepared the vignette the clash of Waterloo, sculpted by Carl Reid.
It is a beautiful kit with a lof of details on both mounted figures.
I have chosen for another position, one second earlier, so you can see the mounted figures better on the vignette.

That's also a possibility to change the position.
Cannot say that it works for me.
Maybe if it is painted, so hurry up :D

    Hi Ben,
when i received my couple of figures i thought about the same as you - to see the individual figure a lot better.
I will follow this to see it painted.

I will begin to work mine in a month or two, so I will be following your progress closely. I also rather like your rearranging of the figures. One question. Did you pin the horses and riders.

Only the horses are pjnned tot he base. For the figure isn't necessary.
Don't forget to assembly spurs to the boots!
The reins for the 4th French Line Lancer are maked from lead foil.
The reins for the Scots Grey are maked plastic strip (StripStirene Evergreen scale models, 0,25mm x 1,5 mm)

Nice idea Ben. I personally like the closeness of the action in a confined area as per Carls original positioning but your idea tells a different story with an uncertain outcome. Will the Scots Grey trooper be able to parry the lance?.. who knows.
I am looking forward to your painting. I believe that the Lancer regiments involved in this action were the 3rd & 4th so a choice of either pink or red facings. Either way it will be a colourful scene.
    Cheers

    Hi Gordon,

Both horses aren't not on the base yet. Perhaps I change it to the orginial position as Carl thought.
