    Hi Guys

Havent posted for several months as I have been messing about with some WW2 japanese ships!
That was a change I can tell you!
Anyhow, here is the newest rendition
Andreas "After the battle" bust and a little gem it is although he caused me a lot of pain!
    Hope you like him
I have renamed him "The Veteren"

    Cheers

Hi John, love the job you have done on this-shouldn't it be "veteran"?

John hi , its a nice try to leave the helmet on the back, i like the idea. Just one thing that the flesh tones are a bit too much ochre . But thats a personal preference. wILL BEHAPPY TO SE YOUR NEXT WORK !!!

Thanks for the comments guys, all feedback welcome

    Hi Costas
Thanks for your comment re the flesh. I have been experimenting with the oils to try to get a better tone of flesh.
I have mixed up various colours as I was told by a friend of mine that certain oils will clash with each other and it was turning my flesh a purple colour! So I am in the process of "playing" around to obtain a better blend

I agree he does look a bit "ochreish" I was trying to make him a bit tanned but I think he has spent too much time in that wonderful sunshine that you get in Greece!

How do you mix your oils for flesh? I am not too old to learn! not once I put my stick down!

    Cheers mate

    John
