    Hello,
Here is the first miniature of a new range: "Kids in Art"
The Golden Rays is a sculpture based on the the work of Herbert James Draper, famous British painter of the Victorian era.You could see more pics and a video hereI hope you will like it.

Typically Victorian stuff - lots of innocent pathos - but a superb piece and beautifully
    executed......just love it.

I love draper's art so it's great to see it being revived. I would like to see this figure released in a few scales if that is possible - 54 and 75mm. Its a figure that could add charm to many a scenario.

This would go well with the First Legion Vivandiere, if this is 75mm. Nice little render

It would certainly be welcome, I think, as child figures seem to be thin on the ground in 75mm. Could see this little charmer in many scenarios.

Like me at first - you missed the clue in the title - unfortunately it's in 120mm which will limit it's use as anything other than a stand alone piece in most peoples view.

That's a lovely and delicate figure , will paint up really nice

If avail in other scales could easily be included in many settings

    Thanks for sharing

    Thank you for your feedbacks.
At the beginning, I wanted to make several scales, 54, 75, 120mm.

But my caster told me that casting the flowers (which the little girl is holding in her hand) would be impossible. He advised me to cheat a bit by making them bigger but I told him I didn't want to stray from the original painting.

I would have to find another solution ... not to supply the flowers on this scale? or provide only the pistils and not the stem? (up to the painter to make them)?

Most of us would not be troubled by the absence of flowers.....in any case they would be too fragile in 54mm or 75mm. Not difficult to create them in modelling putty, and they can be left to the modeller's imagination and skill. Be great to see this little lass in 75mm and 54mm.(y)

    how much is it?
  17. Golem Miniatures Active Member

For the 120mm scale it is 28 euros for one copy and 50 euros for two copies.
For the other scales I don't know because the caster has to give me quotes ;)

I appreciate your commitment to the spirit of the painting but I'm sure it would sell at any scale even without any flowers, which needn't be critical for it's use by most modelers. Many companies already make scenic flowers which could be utilized to personalize the figure.
I'm now conflicted though; if the figure was released in multiple scales I feel it would be so popular we would get tired of seeing it everywhere on the competition tables. Sometimes over exposure can become counter productive and rarity can be a virtue to be savored.

Very nice figure indeed! And not a military one! Which is a good sign IMHO... (y)

Do you have a website? Where can we order?

    Thanks!

    Cheers!

EDIT: Ok, I found your site!

Et vous êtes Français ;) Par contre j'arrive pas à trouver cette figurine sur votre site :(
