    Hello friends,
this is the latest project in progress. Second attempt on this one as i was not satisfied with the first go. So it was stripped and repainted. Alot of work to be done and many white spots to eliminate! Any comment, critique or suggestion is more thatn welcomed.
    Regards.

Costara my friend i m glad you like it. Waiting to see you in athens. Do a paint session together!
Rodrigo thank you very much for the compliments. Feedback like that charge me up for things to come. I havent used any oil on the figure per se except from the helmet of course.
Damian man thank you for the comment. Funny you should bring up Ambiorix cause i was just thinking that i have to dedicate i day painting to finish that one. He is about 90% complete. Will post final pics soon i guess.
Mike i m glad you like it. Actually i ve been watching your work over the past months and i have to say your progress with every step is amazing. So the red is done with Turner acrylics and if you can find them i really think you should give them a try.

    Hi Dimitrios,

Excellent painting. The fleshtones are amazing and the flat finish on the red colour is very effective. I'm assuming the darkened area on the chest represents chest hair?? If so, I think you need to expand the area covered by hair to cover most of the upper chest and neck, but thin it out. Also, the hair on his chest and the hair on his head appear to be different colours.

Thank you all for you kind comments guys.
Tony you have a very sharp eye. The truth is the original color of both head and chest hair was black, but changed on the way to a dark brown. Obviously not so effectively on the chest part. I m not 100% satisfied with it but the more i try the poorer the result gets. Will add some very thined lines across his chest and hope he doesn t turn to a Homo Neaderdal!
