    This Tommyswar figure has taken me quite a long time but this is where I'm at. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Very impressive, Jed - like the uniform colours & shading, & the scratchbuilt trench is outstanding!
    Nice one mate.

Just what any German soldier would not want to meet on a dark night in his trench: a Scouser looking for an argument.

I ought to add that I pinched the idea for the trench from the artwork for this and it's companion figure from tommyswar, bases are certainly not my forte!!

One of the advantages I see for those chaps who paint busts. I like your work on this… and I’m not sure I’d like to share a trench with him either!

I created that base for Tommy's War and it doesn't bother me that you copied it rather than using it. You've done a great job. The Germans liked using woven hurdles as they noticed that they could flex and fall back from a nearby explosion more than other types of revetment.

Thanks Andrew, I don't mind buying but I like having a go at making things, the bit I really don't like is painting them as I struggle with the colours and tones for some reason, that's why I mainly just do figures on a basic base!! I'm hoping your book will show me what I'm doing wrong.
