    Hi all,
this is a Royal Naval Commander, at the Siege of Sevastopol 1854, mix of different putty's in 70mm, bit of a muse of mine, for me completing it will be the real challenge, I keep making 70mm figures never post here because I think they are never right, but this time I will do my best now as I've posted here.
    Thanks' for looking
    Best Regards

I'm not a sculptor and I think I can't do the half of the work you did on this piece. However I think that your figure is a bit flat. I think you have to add some volume especilly on his bust (perhaps have you planned to do it ? in that case apologise for the remark)

    Hi Laurent,
Thanks' for your comment, you are right!
He is a little too skinny in the chest area an error on my behalf, I started out thinking he would not be carrying too much weight , but never the less he needs to good on the eye's and structure's of the human form should be correct .
In some way I must of known some thing was amiss I never completed the jacket front although I had marked out the button spacings.
When sculpting I have got in to bit of a bad habit of flitting from a bust to a figure in the same sittingo_O bit foolish the minds eye can be sent very much off kilter.
In the next day or so I'll try and put this right.
Thanks' your honest remarks and for posting(y)
    Best Regards
    Paul
