it has been a while since my last post here, so i m very glad to show you my last work. It's a pirate at 75mm inspired by a painting sculpted and painted by me. Ecxuse my poor photography though.

Thank you Mark my friend for your comment. I agree the pics are below average.So much a smartphone can do i guess. I ll try borrowing a serious piece of camera and get some better photos.

Lovely little piece, well presented and expertly painted, I can only say that you have magic hands taking inspiration from a painting and turning it into an actual figure.

So tried to fix the lighting setting and the background a bit and took some fresh pictures which at least on my screen seem better. I also uploaded some pics of the unpainted piece.

Just a super job from start to finish with the composition, sculpting and painting.
I was also glad to see a pirate resting. It is very tiring with all the pillaging, burning and raping a fully employed pirate has to do. It was no picnic getting on and off the ship either with one leg as there was no handicapped access ramps then either.
