    The one thing that upsets me with this kit is the powder horn, it's too high up on the figure ,it would normally hang down to the waist not under the armpit , I would have to remove this right away . Davey Crockett staring Fess Parker was the first movie I every saw ,and he has remained my all time hero so I'll probably get this anyway

    Powder Horn location

    Chippie - You are correct about placement of the powder horn on Western Trappers...in the East , the Longhunters ( Boone, Crockett, Kenton) often wore the horn higher and almost under arm as they spent most of their hunting time traveling through the woodlands - a loose horn had a habit of catching on branches etc. Hence my reason for the higher placement.
