I feel a right plonker after finding out what that little part is,as when i was first cleaning up the figure,i noticed that i had broke the bloody thing and couldn't find the other piece. After a while i found it and gently superglued it back together. Now i realise i've glued the nose guard key back onto the bit of sprue ,that it originally was attached to.No harm done but i sometimes worry about myself:D
I bought this bust when i saw the bare resin one,as i find that the boxart, although stunning,is a bit too busy for me.I'm going to try something else with his scale armour, probably a mixture of different metals.

Just made a start on him, eyes done and base colours on the face and already going to have to strip the helmet back, painted it vallejo natural steel with a black wash to bring out the recessed detail then used a silver oil paint pen to highlight the raised detail, well it splurged a load of paint all over it, so back to the grey and start again.
