    Hi guys  !
The idea for my latest project comes from the sample colour plate posted on Keith Rocco's website advertising his new Napoleonic War book. It depicts a Prussian Landwehr during the War of Liberation 1813. The figure's head is a modified character head from Minie Ball Miniatures. The shako, canteen and clogs are Historex spares. The hands are from Hornet and part of the legs from Preiser. The Brown Bess is from Michael Roberts Ltd. and the small bird from Minie Ball Miniatures. The rest is paper clips,2-part epoxy putty and modified plastic spares for the torso and waist. Next-up will be the groundwork. Thanks for looking and cheers !

Thanks,Per Olav !!! The "straw" for the clogs is actually bits of dried seaweed, secured with white glue. HTH. Cheers !

Thanks,Jay !!! I knew I had to put in the "straw" the moment I thought of using the clogs for the figure's footwear. Cheers !

    Hi  !
The next step in my vignette: I've detailed a Plusmodels "Pillar Chapel" with sculpted religious icons and a vine growing out from a crack on the base of the structure. The vine was made from rolled-out putty and the leaves individually glued-on with white glue. The leaves came from a dried-out decorative scrub.
Next will be the groundwork proper. Thanks for looking and cheers !

    Hi guys  !
The next step: Using florist polystyrene foam, the vignette groundwork base is made and the various elements placed on it for composition. The wrecked hedge fence is made-up of parts from the Plusmodels "pigeonry" set. The duck is a modified Tamiya item. I'll be adding the groundwork, grass, rocks, etc. next. Thanks for looking and cheers !
