Just an update on the Priest Vallon figure I had previously posted on this forum. The nameplate was made for me by my mate Derek. The backing plate is from a New York newspaper of 1844 about the murder of a construction overseer by one of the New York gangs.

Turned out a cracker Brian. The rabbits are a perfect addition. The snow and in particular the way the blood has soaked in is beautifully handled.

Great work!! I saw the movie (again) a couple of days ago. The nameplate is very nice and seems like the type of thing they had in those says.
I agree with DEL, the rabbits and the blood are nicely done!

Great paintwork, as usual Brian. Nice subtle colour combinations throughout. Snow is nice too.

I'm not familiar with priest Vallon.....was he known for hitting rabbits with that cross?! ;-)

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Priest Vallon was one of the characters in the movie Gangs of New York and his gang was called the Dead Rabbits.

Very nice Brian. Fancied this one myself but the thought of trying to do all that black put me off. You've nailed it mate. Who makes the rabbits? or are they the ones from Border Miniatures?
