    Servus Fex,

Outstanding work on "Papa" Ringel!!! What scale are you making him in?

As a collector of both original Gebirgsjäger militaria and military miniatures, I would be very interested in getting one of your busts!

Here are a few images of "Papa" that I have in my collection:

    Servus Fex,

Outstanding work so far on "Papa." My only critique is that the bill of the cap is too straight and too long. Gebirgsjägers wear the Bergmütze (mountain cap) which is very different from the M-43 cap. The Bergmütze has a much shorter bill and extends around the cap almost from ear to ear. This gives the bill a more downward slant than what is found on the M-43 cap. Here are some samples of original Bergmützen in my collection:

You too force events, the bust is still illegal. I know length of a peak and it will be corrected, but not now. And during final work on a bust.
The peak is always difficult for making from the first correctly, it very thin and a material always breaks. Therefore the peak always comes to the end in the last turn. You run ahead of an engine and very much hurry with criticism. Wait when the bust will be finished for 90 %.

    Greetings Fex,

Maybe there is some issue with the translation between our two languages, but it seems you are taking my comments negatively. I'm just excited to see a fantastic bust of General Ringel and I'm trying to help you with my 30 years of Gebirgsjäger research, knowledge and collection. I look forward to seeing this bust completed.

    With kind regards,

    Patrick

    Yes, transfer problems.
I say that you too hurry pointing me to mistakes. The bust isn't finished yet. I know as the headdress should look. And I will make as it should look. I will make it later, I wanted to make it later - and you hurry. To all there is time.

The bust becomes step by step, it is not necessary to speak about mistakes because I yet didn't make a mistake - understand? It is preparation of a headdress and it will be corrected, I wanted it to correct, therefore I know that as the headdress looks.

Thanks for desire to help me.

Great work Fex ! I'm just starting the cap that is just a bit older version of this one...

P.S. Man, I already noticed that google translate is missing that "do not sound rude" option - especially for the Slavic languages :)
