Argue with how I like to enjoy figure postings?
Really? The order of enjoyment I listed is my own, not what I think everyone else should have! ;)

I even went to the trouble to italicize and bold the salient points :)

Is it just me or is this the most impressively presented Michael Wittmann in any scale?

The Andrea annoucement this time round delivers more thrills than one can handle. A return to form!

I still think the Kirin 1/16th with him sitting on the knocked out Cromwell wedgie is the best.

    Hello,
to the figure of Michael Wittmann, I remember when Mike Goods excellent bust came out that there were discussions as to the piping of his cap.Apparently it is well known that Michael Wittmann wore a cap with the infantry piping of white and not the panzer pink !!! Ask any good armour buff.I personally love the fantasy figure.Great releases.

Mike Good's from the mid 90s is the best. I've not seen one in the flesh for years, I'd love to again at some point.

That Roman has potential. It doesn't leap out at you like the Space marine, but cries out for some beautiful painting, if the casting was good.

Unfortunately, the Roman is not historically correct (for example, the leather cuffs at the arms), but he has a living model:

The actor Ray Stevenson alias "Titus Pullo" from the well known TV-series "Rome"...:

Thanks Martin, do you mean not correct as in never existed or wrong style?

We encourage people to post pictures or documents when an error in historical accuracy is found for all to benefit :)

    Hi Gordy!

Those leather cuffs at the arms did never exist - even in Hollywood.

And - for example - one could argue about the trousers also - at least during the time of Caesar.

On the other hand, this is a really pretty figure.
If I use him, I would change nothing but build a film studio-diorama, with Cameras, cables, floodlights and a director in civilian clothes and some Acessoires. (A table with some Coke and muffins and so on).

Moreover, I would take - without helmet - the other main actor of the series "Lucius Vorenus" (he is already available as a figure how I have learnt today!) in addition and to the whole give the title "Making Rome" or so...

I have to say the Sgt. Connor figure is just marvellous (not a big surprise given Joaquin sculpted it). I'm really looking forward to seeing different versions of this since pretty much anything goes, colour wise, and it's just crying out for some kickass weathering techniques.

Also really like the Wittman figure for the likeness, easy pose and well-done drapery. Nice to see the black painted subtly for the boxart.

[IMG] Luckily those would be fairly easy to correct.
