Now you've gone and done it, more figures to add to my "I have to have those even I wont get around to painting them list" :angry: :lol: Actually I see those Duelist figures as big sellers and I for one hope the dude in the red suit see fit to get me a set. I like the Invisible Man too, lots of potential. It didn't take them long to release a figure from Kingdom of HEaven and this looks the part, though not as dramatic as it could have been.

Some nice figures... As a fencer I definitely have to go for that set... The figure mid-lunge tooks just like my fencing-master - except for the pigtails... From a fencing point of view the lungin figure looks very stiff, and as for the parying fencer... lets just say if I paried like that... I wouldn't win as many bouts on the piste as I do...

The Kingdom of Heaven looks nice, but I agree it's maybe not as dramatic as the subject allowed... a bit pensive really...

Quang, just the opposite. I feel that any self respectin' figure painter will go through the trouble of painting the flesh on the invisible man. This, after all, is what seperates the bronze medalist at World Expo from the "Why did you bother?" merit-alist. The trick will not be which flesh tones (dark or light), but which "clear coat" to use. The painters at Andrea studios have obviously perfected this technique. Those Spainiards have beaten the world to the punch again. Attached below is my most recent attempt at "clear coating" a figure. Critiques please.

Joking aside, I think Andrea had a great subject in the Invisible Man. Now how about Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (with switchable heads :lol: )?
