Greetings everyone! Sorry for the long delay between posts, but I'm still plugging away on Murat and have made some progress worth posting. Murat's mount is assembled and primed - but more importantly, the leopard skin shabraque is finished! This was my first leopard skin, and it was an enjoyable, though tedious, challenge. The dark area toward the top of the shabraque is just a shadow area that will be covered by the rider. Thanks for looking, more to come.

    Hi Jason,

The leopard skin looks excellent. If the rest of the figure is painted to this standard it will be a show stopper.

    Cheers

Jason, you might want to look at that 8th spot, the one just left of the 9th and adjacent to the 7th, I think the edges of it need just touch of clean-up................what the crap! AWESOME! Is this all acrylics? The best part is that you did your research. Nice work on the placement and size of the spots, the gradation to white around the edges and in the right amount and position, and the colors are spot-on. You've got something here my friend, you might want to stick with it! :)

Jason, looks marvelous as usual. I guess I have to wait until Chicago to see it in the round.

Thanks John! Yes, indeed, I wont be getting out to any shows until Chicago - and even that is kind of questionable, but I intend to be there.
