The commander figure would probably be good for Das Werk’s forthcoming 1/16 StuG III Ausf.G as well……..
    Another beautifully-executed crew, Jeff!

Further to what Chris posted, what, if anything, limits these guys to DAK? Another winning release!

There is nothing really to stop you using these as Wehrmacht Panzer troops, I think the main "DAK" angle is the Tamiya boxart, that these are based on. The PzrKpfw IV Ausf G as depicted on the box, is really an Ausf F2, as noted by the single baffle bulb muzzle brake. The Ausf F2 was a quick fix to upgun the short barreled F1, which was seriously outgunned in the Desert, and off course Russia. The F2 was Designated Ausf G when the double baffled muzzle brake (and other changes) was introduced. shirts of the crew are generic service shirts, and the commander's jacket I can't really work out from the pictures.

Yeah, crew would probably work just as well for Russia, got pretty hot on the steppes during the summer.

As usual great releases and very natural poses ,particularly like the way the clothing is done , folds and creases ...as on active service

    Thanks for sharing

    Something's wrong here.
The headphones are on the appropriate crewmen, that's good. Some figure sets put them on the wrong people.
But... I see only headphones. Where are the microphones?

( Here you can read about panzer headsets : https://byrden.com/panzers/EN/Headsets.html )

Just to add to my earlier post, after a closer look on a bigger screen.
The commander is also wearing a shirt, not a jacket. I saw the Officers issue belt, and concluded that he was thus wearing a jacket.
The commander and driver are wearing the early M38 Field Cap, which remained popular with panzer crews, because it didn't have a peak, which was awkward in the cramped convines of a tank. The only issue is that the Soutache is to big. The gunner and loader are wearing the M41 DAK field cap, as noted by the two air holes at the side of the crown, and the lack of one or two buttons to the front. To make them into regular issue for Western or Eastern Front troops, the holes need to be removed, and one or two buttons added just above the peak. The peak also looks a bit to big for a regular issue Field Cap, but that is hard to judge from the photos.

    Card model...
I think I would go with the Trumpeter F2 for Afrika Korps, you can get conversion parts to do the F1 as well, if you want the short barrel version.

Seriously: will there be microphones in the set?
