    Hi All,

Just finished up this piece from EMI. The scale is a bit larger than the traditional 54mm and I would guess it's more 65mm. It was cast in white metal and fit together nicely. Some filling was needed at the joints, and pits were discovered on the jacket and filled. Altogether a nice figure to assemble and very painter friendly.

The "board walk" was made of Magic Sculp by rolling out the putty and scored to create the "boards". This was set on top a wood base to elevate it from the ground.
The nails were made be gently pressing the flat part of a tiny drill bit into the soft putty. The bottle and chair are from Historex, and the broken "glass" is clear plastic card.

Everything was painted w/ acrylics. Any questions on the colors used, please shoot away!

    Thanks for looking,

    Jason

    Jason,

This is some masterpainting. I also find the groundwork amazing, and a real one piece of a kind.
    Great work

He stands outside the saloon an someone smashed the chair to him?
    Is it right.

 Yeah, it gave my Optivisor a work out! No, seriously the trousers didn't take as long as I thought it would. I painted the base a rust color. Shaded and highlighted. Then painted light tan horizontal lines with dark brown vertical lines.
I just kept a steady hand and the brush (4/0) did the rest.

    Thanks Terry and 'Kisifer'!

Thanks Marc! The groundwork was fun to do!

    Thanks Gary and Matt!

    Roc, thanks my friend!

Stephen, no behind the scene. I think this was typical of the towns
    "Wild Bill" frequented. Sheer lawlessness!

    Hi Jason!

Love your overall work on this piece! Especially like the face, waistcoat, and the boots. The scene you set up is very nice, liked the idea of the stool having been tossed through the window.

    Jason,

Nice work. I like the vest and pants as well. I picked up the Andrea version and look forward to painting it now after seeing yours.

Chris, sorry for the late reply. I painted the boots black then highlited with US Olive Drab (all Vallejo colors). For the dried mud I built up layers with 983 Flat Earth to 977 Desert Yellow finally to 976 Buff. I may have added some gray in there somewhere to tone it down.

    Thanks again!
