    Hi everyone ,

This is the start of a big WIP ...the story goes like this :

I went to Jimbo's a little while back to borrow biccies and have a paint day but also armed with the phrase " I have a great idea"......

so I dragged the cowering Jimbo from the back of the shed he was hiding in and ......

saying ......."I have some duplicate busts , and would like you to do a "bit" of putty pushing for me .......

and stop that slobbering...lol ........So I thought can you sculpt me a Air Raid Warden a1.jpg ...Jimbo me old mucker buddy pal......

using this as a base 1.jpg this is what he came up with ..he is a good lad eh

    Warden WIP.jpg

Now then .....we were talking about our hobby saying how we enjoyed doing the "trio" of busts together so ....
As James is a ex member of the Fire Service completing over 30 years service so my idea was also to have one of these brave fellows as well ....

using this as a base 1a.jpg this will become a member of the WW2 brigade ...currently researching and WIP
    1.jpg
Fear not I said to him ..have a cuppa and a biccie ........

" How about adding a lady to the group"

This was his thought !!!!!..... 1a.jpg

This is the sort of lovely lady we will go for 1aaa.jpg

....so we are going for a member of the WRVS possibly with a mug of tea....... using this as the base 1aa.jpg like the fireman this is WIP

Both will be updated when possible but we both have lots on but stay tuned it will be done

All 3 will be based onto bomb damaged base work possibly with an Anderson shelter frontage th.jpg th (1).jpg
    th.jpg

This will be our small tribute to the civilians that also gave so much (y)

    I love this hobby

    Hi Guys ,

Bit of an update on the Warden , just the hand to do ...Jimbo is busy dremelling and puttying on the others , he has talked me round to having a female in a beret as in the illustration here ( these are the 3 subjects we will be working on rather than a WVS ( fear not I have a plan for a duo of ladies .....)

The medal ribbons are WW1 War medal , the Victory medal , and behind his hand the Mercantile War medal ( our warden was a Navy man in the Great war) I left off the 1915 star ribbon on the left as our man joined in 1916

    Hi Guys ,

Thanks for the comments glad you like him , the hand and wedding ring , together with the watch (@ 15:50 on the hands) all done so that's this one done .

Scotty ...Sculpting is Jimbos domain ...I can barely deal with putting a magi sculpt button on! ...so he should see this and hopefully put some pics on ....he is probably covered in resin shavings as I type!...he's a good 'un

    MM ,

It is a good subject and one of my better ideas in life!..lol .....really looking forward to seeing the fireman on my bench as Jimbo is ex fire service ...30+ years ...so this is a subject close to his heart .

Stay tuned I will update as and when I can

    Thanks for looking in

Great idea and well executed, I love the idea of a multi-bust display, having done two myself I'm contemplating a third, I've only used two bust's for mine so will stay with that idea.
    watching intently...
