    Hi Guys,

Well I just finished painting "Can you hear me mother" from Elan13 leaving it in its original form (pics soon) but as I was painting I had a inspirational idea .........

At this point my mate Jimbo went into hiding .......

    I found him ......he he

So the rather fine fellow did a few additions .....

    Put a right arm on

Helmet opened up ....a piccy off a mum will be in the final version !

    Reworked the head

    Lengthened the arm

    Reworked the back

    ...he's good eh ....

Oh...I based him and ordered the nameplate!

Here's a few iffy pics with iPad ( he is now primed in black , head off for painting )

Hope to do a WIP on this ...if I remember the pics !!

Reckon he will look great and a definite one off

    Thanks for looking in

Excellent concept Kevin; and that's a superb piece of re-sculpting by Jim.
It really brings to life the element of "Can You Hear Me Mother?"
Looking forward to seeing the painting of this one.

    Hi Guys ,

Bit of an update , everything is nicely base coated in Acrylics , not sure about you folk but I find it easier to paint if I basecoat neatly!!

I also now always mount on the base that I have chosen , covering this with clingfilm and paper tape (the film stops the stickiness mucking the base up ...and I have a good way to hold when painting !!!

You can also see the pike he will have ( cheers Jimbo)

More updates will follow as soon as I can

    Thanks for looking in

It's coming along nicely. I like the addition of the pike (it was a permanent fixture in the character's hand).
Also admire your neatness. I try, but generally fail miserably.
