    Hi guys .

This is another Alan Ball figure in resin , from United Empire Miniatures, in 90 mm this time.

It;s Sir Richard Church, the "founder" of Greek Light infantry, around 1812-1813. a beautiful figure, and a nice sculpture from Alan Ball.

Fit is perfect, and casting also the same. A good choice for everyone to paint if interested in the theme

Sorry for the low lighting on the pictures ,but my setup is not working as i want it to do!!!

All painted in acrylics, and printers inks, with some oils addition

Have fun guys and shot at will !!!!

Thanks a lot Xenofon. It was really a nice thought from you to send me this piece. Its 90mm but definately worth all the effort, since Alan has made really a great work there

Wonderfull painting my friend Costas you keep on improving day by day on each figure. Your scene is also very beautiful and it matches extremely well with figure.

Very nice indeed my friend, a wonderful paint job, chapeu!! I´m trying to figure out some historicity about this figure, any known references on this Kosta? It seems quite strange to me that he´s armed only with a sword but carries no pistols with him.

    Hi Costas
Just a minor critism, the white of the skirt looks very bright and not many shades
Is it perhaps the camera flash?
Apart from that another of your little beauties!
    Cheers

dear john thanks for your comments

This skirt is an initial type that didnt had the full foldery that the later ones had, so it cannot justify many shades and folds and creases, . Apart from that the lighting has eliminated some of the shadows and enhanced the white brilliance . Thanks my friend

Very nicely done Costas! I really like the maroony reds of the jacket. Groundwork is, as usual, impressive as well!

    Costas,

The color scheme for the uniform is very good. The whole piece comes trogether very, very well. I see you are having problems with the camera and lighting like me. Finding the correct lighting while keeping the figure in focus is something I am having problems with also. Maybe the PF can present a SBS for us on picture taking? Again, a great figure.
