    Hi guys,
Just finished this one from Pegaso. It's a Germanic Warrior at 75mm sculpted by Andrea Jula. I guess it will be next month's release. Had the chance to see this at Euro and couldn't resist him.
Hope you like it and feel free to comment and criticize.

Superb Dimitrios. Very realistic and impressive paint job, I like how you´ve painted the skin, wood, leather and fur, and of course the ground. The general tone is very warm.

As always, BEAUTIFUL work! It's amazing how well you paint, cinsistently all the time.

Ever thought of doing a SBS to show us how you paint? I'm sure it would prove to be EXTREMELY popular (y)

While on the subject of painting, would you mind telling me what colors you used for the fur cloak? This really looks nice and very realistic.

    Hello Dimitrios,
this figure is excellent! not only the sculpt, but the paint too. I like the skintones very much, and the fur is very realistic, too. I like this figure very much, and I can´t wait when pegaso will release it. Superb work Dimitrios!

I m glad you like it and thank you for commenting.
Robert yes it is a new from Pegaso. Probably next month's release.
Jim, Carl i ll try to explain how i treated the fur although it is harder said than done.
First i found a great photo of a bear fur, then washed the whole cape with black to have my extreme shadows. Base coat was made with dark brown from turner's. The main highlighting was done adding provincial beige (josonja's) to the dark brown and some raw sienna when needed a more yellowish tone. After the main volumes where highlighted some diluted black was used for the shadows. Two to three lines max were needed. Finally i used provincial beige with opal (josonja's) until opal was used purely for fine painting the hair. This was mainly done with a dry brush motion but with normal dilution and taking care to touch only the more pronounced elements of the fur. In case where the sculpting was not as deep a fine brush was used to paint thin lines of hair. Some black was used here and the to define some tuffs of hair and alot of tuning the tones. Finally i used films of brown earth, brown madder and raw sienna.
I m attaching some photos i have from the WIP. Unfortunately they are not muck at all.
