    Stephen - I now prefer to paint everything around the face before painting the face. It allows me to better judge the tone and contrasts of the face.
    Anders - Yeah, I finished that last figure in about a month, which was a record for me, and wouldn't have been possible without my switch to acrylics (loving them, best thing I ever did for my painting!) Doubt I'll ever match your pace, though! See you in Atlanta!

    Cristiane - I use carmine red, toned down with green, highlighted with scarlet (acrylics).
