2 supersculpey sculpts I commissioned from Sean Cooper of Paleocraft arrived a few weeks ago.
I couldn´t resist taking some photos whilst packing them away for the housemove next week.

1/18th scale sub-adult Gorgosaurus libratus pair.

I designed them as a counter statement to all those running, roaring T. rex modles that look more like terrestrial Basking Sharks.
Wanted a David Attenborough with the Gorillas natural history documentary feel.

Spent a year or two considering it and making sketches.
Commissioned a drawing from my pal Alain Beneteau.

Finally spent a couple of months e-mailing Sean.
He really brought to life the poses I wanted and his detailing is wonderful.

I asked him to close one eye on the squatting Gorgosaurus.
It gives it a very different look.

There´s a backlog of models to finish once I get moved in.
But these two have moved up towards the front of the queue!

    Spike.
