Have had a recent go at this gem of a figure. Very fiddly and finnicky to do. But I'm happy with the end result. It's on the small side of 54mm, representing a youth of course.

Good work BP, I like it.
The analysis is - 54mm figure = difficult + drummer = very difficult + drummers lace on the jacket = bloody impossible.
    Well done mate,

    Good work of paint.

Perhaps the leaves need some washes to integrate tones with ground

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. I haven't posted for awhile and thought it was high time I did. Otherwise people would think all I do is spout rubbish on here and never actually paint anything!

Pete, I am glad you mentioned the face.
This is because I used a technique I haven't tried before.
Basically due to it's very small size I found it quite intimidating. So, I did the eyes first thankfully got those right first time. Then painted the face all over in the darkest shades, then using almost dry brushing, went lighter and lighter in the relevant parts of the face.
I am happy with the result.
A very tricky, but rewarding figure.

Next time, I'll spell 'Elite' right as well. They're OOP anyway so it won't happen again.
