    Thank you Grant.

as you noticed, it's not only toothpick, brushes icw dilluters or self sharpened tools that matter when thinking of sculpting.

I sometimes also take pictures of myself, like the fieldblouse of Steiner, to check the wrinkles and folds. Also love photoshop as a tool to compare with original or temperarely add some shades to see what's the painters' job and what's mine.

nevertheless...my fingers are also important tool, for smoothening, moving sections symetricaly.

Not to mention the helpful mirror in time...ofcours faces are a symetrical but a mirrorcheck cuts out the worst mistakes. By rotating subject in mirror I notice it lacks of plasticity and some transitions need to be more flawless.

For the second one I was thinking of James Gandolfini, aka Tony Soprano.

Will be a funny bust. The head is massive, hard to find connection on it.
    Looking for shapes still.

..we shall go on to the end...

..no matter what costs we are depending on....

Hell, it's hard! Wished I was asked for the Kingpin or the Thing but this Gandolfinidude is really a challange...:)

btw, I like his posture with his head slightly tilted, stresses his mass even more.

It is moving forward very well !
I like his facial expression where corner of the mouth are pressed up - but not in a smile and the eyes slightly more open - i think you got that expression earlier, but lost it in the process. This is the expression I'm talking about, that's Tony for me ;) :

Look for it Marc; serendipitisme :awesome:

finding something you were not actualy looking for while looking for something else.

how tempting it may have been, think I would have stopped trimming him because I also felt a strong resemblance with CHurchill a few pages back.

But I need to sculpt Tony and Tony it will be :sneaky:
