Hi to all, planeteers. I made this simple conversion using two figures of the Andrea catalogue. The body is of SM-F04 knight 1280, and the head is of SM-F23, knight with axe. I´ve had to use a little bit of putty around the neck, and remodel a little part of chain mail, becouse the fixing of the head was not clean and perfect. I painted the figure with acrylics. Hope you like it.

Thank you very much, pedro, Mike, Davide, Adrian, John, Meizi, Alexandros and Marc, for look and comment.

Adrian, certainly the quality of the sculpture is not as good as today's, but quite good considering the figure SM-F04 knight 1280, which, I used the body, was released in 1995.

Marc, sorry, I forgot to mention any reference to this heraldry. This shield is from the "Arce" surname, in castilian language, is the name of a tree (maple), and it seems, it comes from the town of the same name in Santander. Other sources say, it comes from the old kingdom of Navarre, who occupied territories of present Spain and France.
The origin of the meaning comes from the Basque word "Artze" meaning set of stones, or stony. This theory could be certain becouse this surname is common in Cantabria, Navarre and in the Basque Country.

The disposition of the elements in the clothes of the knight is a speculation.
