I would like to show you my latest figure. It is a 54mm version of the great Cab Calloway from Kings Rd Miniatures in California.
Cab Calloway was a bandleader and singer with his heyday in the 1940s. He sang Minnie the Moocher which was used in the Blues Brothers.

Also shown is a comparison photograph of Cab Calloway in the same pose. I must say that Kings Rd Miniatures have captured the likeness extremely well. I have painted Cab in oils on acrylics. The only alteration I have made is to his shoes. I wanted him to wear spats as they are so cool. The stage floor is a piece of formica wood trim that has been cut to fit. It is quite brittle and will snap if not carefully cut but is perfect for depicting wooden floors.

Cab was a joy to paint and I hope you like him.
