    I agree Chris, the 3D figures make a good sculpt for the most part......but Alpine Miniatures still takes the cake for the finished (casting) product :)

    Cool to see you scan rig. I was wondering if this was how it was being done. Have to get all the scans in at once before the person breathes. I just wish the human was thinner like soldiers of the period.

    I would say all the photos are taken at the exact same time to get the figure in the same still pose

    Yes, this is how it is done for movie characters. They stand in a booth that snaps all the picture at one time. It is from all angle so when there are no missing areas which leads tonal mesh holes in the polygonol mesh of the 3D model. Otherwise they have to get little targets glued all over for the scanners figure everything right.
