Hey Guys, Decided to stop being lazy and do a real figure with legs instead of knocking out busts all the time. This is my first 90mm horse and I have to say quite a lot of work involved .I will defiantly be going back to the busts after this one! Comments welcome. horse 3.jpg horse 2.jpg horse 4.jpg horse 5.jpg horse 1.jpg

I know what you mean , mounted figures are a lot of work before you even get an undercoat on :) A bust is out the box and paint ,well almost.
the horse looks good If I were you I would do many more (y)

Ron , This figure was on my bench for about a year before I put an undercoat on,It was a nightmare fit of parts ,so much so that I decided to leave the cloak off .It looked far to bulky anyway. Thanks for commenting .

Adrian , Yeah I used auto primer, followed by Tamiya acrylics with an airbrush and then oils over the top. Thanks for commenting.

Mike ,I don't know about being brave ,I chose this guy cause I thought he would be relatively easy .My goal for next year is a 90mm mounted Napoleonic. If I could still see a 54mm figure it would make my life a lot easier!

    Take care
