    Hello folks,
I have started working on the 4th and final.square of my Yorktown diorama, i has been almost 2 years i have start it , some other projects in between , so this is the last and final one ...maybe not ;-)
In this square, it will mainly have some marching French troops to connect with the other squares, it will have a gun or 2 gun artillery positions which i am planning to buy from grand Manner in the UK, and it will have the French general staff on the background , the bombardiers and marine garding the provisions behind the French Artilley.
So, all of this i have envision for quite sometime and finaly it's coming together.
I have already experimented on converting an american artillery figure to the French, i have ordered figures from Front rank (british gun crew which will be converted to French, and already working on the naval or siege cannon and provisins.
So, all being said, it will be quite some work to be done and looking forward to it.
    Cheers 20160806_142339.jpg

The sheer amount of work and planning needed to create something like this speaks volumes of your commitment. You are surely a man with a vision and I admire that. Can't wait to see it finished.

I added some elevations using Aves putty , covered with some leftover tufts and other stuff i had, waiting for the grass mat and grass tufts from UK.
Added 2 trees and layed some earth.
The open space to the right of the pic it will have the gun position which i am planning to add late august since grand Manner in UK it is closed till end of august :-( 20160806_192134.jpg 20160806_192151.jpg

    Whaaaaaat... :D

It's a good job you don't favour other periods, you would take on the whole march to Atlanta, or Xeneophon's march home of 'the 3000' wouldn't you Daniel :).

    Looking good again sir.

    Bon chance mon brave.

    Helllo folks,
I added some of the grass mat i've got today.
I think at this point i will have to wait for the folks at grand manner since the gun position i's the main piece of this square.
