    Hi all,

Started work on Young's Black Devil bust and thought I would post it as a WIP.

This is where I am up to so far.More tweaks need to be made yet, and a gloss put over the eyes.

    All comments, criticism's, advice welcome!

G'day Jeff, great to catch up in Melbourne and put a face to an avatar. Seriously mate, you need to consider selling a kidney or something to come up for QMHE as our club display (being the only figure club in Oz) will blow your mind. This guy is one of my favourite projects, but I did have some fun and games fitting the Maxim MG belts. I'd recommend after you have heated up and bent the MG belts to mould to the body then give them a bit more angle before they cool as they will want to straighten. This will make glueing them to the body and especially fitting under the collar of the jacket a bit easier. Looking forward to what you make of this bloke.

Hey Graham, awesome job mate!... yes, it was good to catch up with you at Melbourne!

I know, last time I was at QMHE, the club display was excellent!

Yep, the ammo belts do pose a problem.I have already tried a test fit one by heating it up, but it snapped. So I was thinking if I cant do it by heating them, I might try and re-do them with thin lead foil, I'll have to see how I go.

    Thanks for the tips mate!

    Cheer's,
    Jeff.

Tony, is the tunic/jacket dark blue or black?.... From the info I have come across so far it seems to be black.

    Thanks guy's,

    Hi all,

Well, now that I have completed my Teutonic Knight, I have resumed work on this Black Devil bust.

Still very much a work in progress, I have attached the pistol, hand grenade and ammo belts. The ammo belts were formed by dipping them in hot water after the advice from Graham, (Macca G), thanks Graham!

I still have to finish paint on the pistol, add the uniform collar and strips that attach to the hat.I am leaving painting the sleeves until last, as I am still using them to handle the bust for certain angles.

Anyway, this is how it stands for now.....all comments, criticism's and advice welcome as usual.
