You guys didn’t think I was going to let that Hornet Desert Rat head go to waste from my previous project, did you?

Great job you've done on his face, Chaz - it looks "GSR-stained" without being over the top. I note you've painted him in the Forest Green USMC uniform - what colour mix did you use?

From an ex Marine.. Figure is outstanding. Reminds me of Captain Flag. Enclosed is a photo of a souvenir from the Bulldog headed fountain at Belleau Wood

Ooops! I seem to frequently need to do major surgery on a figure AFTER I start painting. I thought I had the positions of arms, hands and shotgun sorted out already. I guess not! If the hands/arms/wrists/shotgun don't look right, this whole thing is garbage. Updates when the putty dries.

    Hi Chaz,

    GSR - gun shot residue/powder
Thanks for the info re. the Vallejo mix, hope you get the arms sorted when the putty has cured.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

    Oh, gotcha! Glad you noticed!

Yup, a bit more finishing/sanding and good to go.

Nice to see another early riser at the keyboard, Chaz. My excuse is the dog got me up to let her out in the garden!
