Here are a few more shots of whatever progress I made on the Ranger.Everything is stuck on with blutac so there might be something not looking exactly in position :)

Thanks Guy for all the encouragement.Thing with this figure is that it's in 1/35 , and it's my first. Even though I have a few 54mm ( or 60's!!! ) behind my back getting smaller makes it even harder. To make it worse , I had to make the transition from 120mm that I have been sculpting lately. Now that's what i call size difference

Stephen, my friend nicely done, you have put a lot of details in your figure and the results are very good.
    Keep it up.

Very nicely done, Stephen! This guy must have a death wish, what with him standing up on Omaha Beach ;) The 42 field jacket looks really good. You'll have to tell me sometime how you went about sculpting on the web gear.

Roc,thanks for the comments.Believe me ,detail on 1/35 is a pain in the butt. But then again omitting it would be no fun.

Hi Pete. Thanks for the comments. Believe or not the field jacket was sculpted in 'patches'. Let me explain. After I sculpted the trousers I added the waist belt and the other belts ( or suspenders ) of the back pack. What is visible of the shirt was sculpted at this stage. The jacket was added in between all the strapping. With that method I could portray the pressure on the jacket by the belts. All clip pockets were sculpted one by one and flaps added in closed position except one in the open position after a clip having been removed. The back pack was sculpted from the inside to the outside with strapping added lastly. For ease of casting the trenching tool handle is seperate.Don't know what else.if I missed something please ask.
