The figure is ready to paint .Test fitting the 3 parts :the body, the right hand and the 2 stone tablets .
The figure is made from a mixture of duro ( green stuff ) and magic sculpt .
The head is an commercial head from the Andrea range , the 2 hands are partially scratch and the feets are old Verlinden bare legs from there acadamy figure .

The hear is resculpted using brown stuff .

The primer is sprayed over the figure and the 2 tablets are redone because the original ones where to small and not scale according to the movie stills .
I also used brown stuff to rebuild them .

Detail of the head and the new hair .

I'm ready to start painting exept from the scenery . The rock Heston is standing on is not finished . Hope to complete it this week .

Very dramatic. Reminds me of Charlton Heston! You have done an excellent job in a unique, rare subject field.

    Excellent,

Super likeness to Heston wth this one! I have one concern, those tablets were alegedly made from stone, it looks as if they are perched very lightly in that left hand. It just feels to me as if that hand should have a much firmer hold on them and not look so much as if they are just resting on his fingertips. Well done piece over all!

    thanks guys.
I found another left hand that has a more firm grip on the stick.
The stick :I used the movie stills as an example . The original prop was very thick and much larger in scale.I already reduced to a more suitable scale .
