Hey guys first I would like to wish everyone a very happy Memorial day, and to my friends around the world a very nice day.

Since there is already a praetorian on a work bench, as to not bore you,I have decided to commence work on the Red Lancer and to share it with all of you.

    Ed, I owe you one.

The proportions of that figure are spot on. If I didn't know he was destined for horseback, I would have guessed that it was Elvis. The basecoating looks fantastic too.

    Happy modelling

    Thank you, Jason, much appreciated.

I can see this is going to be a very demanding but enjoyable project, lots of small parts to be painted seperately.I've had this kit around for quite a few years, I'm glad I'm finally painting it.

    Cheers.

    Roc,

Something similar occurs with my lancer. Today it is unfinished but I am in progress with it. I think you are in the good way with your lancer. I'll be waiting your results. Good luck!

    Roc,

As you told me I attach two pics with my lancer (not finished yet). The main difference with yours is the blue color (this will be a trumpeter).

    Regards,

    Rafa

Rafael , mi amigo, your Lancer is looking good, I like the way you painted the blue uniform.

Are you using oils or acrylics?

Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your next step,I'm interested.

    Saludos.

    Roc,

Thanks for your comments. I am using acrylics (Vallejo). The blue color is based on intense blue (925) with royal blue (old b-61). I think I got the lights using the base+andrea blue. I used dark blue+prussian blue in shades.

    Ciao,

    Rafa
