    beautiful sculpture but
the paint is really bad, a brown color that will be seen live orange
    face without expression.
rows on socks are gross and inaccurate
    I think a paint factory
Cartacci always does the same things, repetitive and boring
The box art is not a nice business card

While you are certainly entitled to express your opinion, Mr. Silic, I think you'll find that you are in the minority, with respect to the painting of this figure.

I think the painting is superb If I was to attempt an entirely brown figure it would just look bland, Danilo's use of light is very inspiring.

Is Mr Silic looking at the same figure as the rest of us?? If so I would love to see some of his work.

Danilo reminds us once again why he is highly regarded and respected by the majority.... and why he is asked by the top sculptors and manufacturers to do the box art for so many of the best figures on the market.

I wait with much anticipation to see some of Mr Silic's work....

Now that's what I call a stunning figure . It reminded of one off my all time favourite films Drums Along The Mohawk starring Henry Fonda , it's a pity my grey army is so large and I have no more space because this would be on my want list . But well done for a producing such a great piece even if I never own one .

I really want to see that you paint this figure, and post it here.
That we all can react on your painting as you do to a mastersculpter and grandmaster painting.
If you can do it better (the sculpting and Painting) be my quest.......but prove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that is such a nice figure, both from the sculpting and painting.

It would fit great with this Art Girona figure I am about to start, if only the scale were the same... art-girona-minuteman.jpg

    Cheers,
    Adrian

excuse my English but I am Russian and I live in Italy for two years
Cartacci is a great painter, I am not a great painter, but I have two eyes to see and understand. is my opinion and as such would be respected.
Cartacci of the faces are always the same, this is a little interpretation.
Mr. Cartacci probably painted many pieces and so it's a bit 'repetitive. Always the same red, the same brown and the same green!
I see little atmosphere. looks like a piece produced by an "industry".
Some say that this is a great work probably will not do any better, especially for the interpretation
