Peter - I'm generally liking the way this one is going! Pretty cool! The chest and short coat look good. The boots might be a little big at their tops. I think the thighs look a little too broad. I would cut back the thighs/trousers and build in some appropriate folds in the trousers at the same time. Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

    All the best,
    Dan

Dan you're right, I was trying to depict fringed buckskin boots but everything seems to have got a bit" heavy" I will pare it down and start again.

Hey, Peter- Don't think you're the only one that does stuff like that! If you want a good laugh, go back and look at Bob Tavis's spot on critique of my RJW Japanese soldier. Note that I said "spot-on". He was absolutely right, but that doesn't make the critique process less painful!! Quite the opposite sometimes. I'm just here to learn and grow myself.

    All the best,
    Dan

Peter, I think your doing a nice job, I agree with Dan about the trousers, with a little more work this figure can look great.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers
    Roc. :)

Peter - A suggestion on the buckskin fringe. Have you tried lead foil strip? Should work better than putty.

    All the best,
    Dan
