Hi all,

As a big fan of the TV series Sharpe starring Sean Bean, I thought I'd have a go at the bust by Verlinden. I had a lot of fun painting this one. It's painted in acrylics.

Funny - how I imagined Harper in the books was nothing like the way he was portrayed in the series, but I really enjoyed the series anyway.

I got mine from Historex. I did slightly alter the features by scraping away and adding with putty though.

Some of ihe old Verlinden Napoleonic personality busts are really good and some are catastrophic. I don't know how much you did to this Edward but it really paid off. Looks fantastic!

Derek Holmes did a lot of their Nappie busts but I can't say for sure about this one.
