Hi Guys,

Some early progress pics of this one, so far. Painted in acrylics, with the face in gouache, this is a conversion to one of MMMs Col Sgt Bourne's heads, with a shave and much reworking on the helmet to make it into a Home Service helmet. Picker chain is fusewire as is the chinstrap, all badges and helmet decoration in Duro. Buttons from 2mm brass rivets.

Ive still got a long way to go on this, still not sure about the helmet colour, maybe a bit greyer....?!

Cheers Nap, the pics have slightly blued the colours, but thats where I started from, a stone grey. It needs a bit of highlighting, so maybe I will be able to judge then!!
