Just some tidying up to do on this fella but he's completed.
The person who commissioned the bust wanted the light grey leather coat instead of the box art black leather, which was mixed using white, black and a tiny spot of blue.
The worn parts of the jacket were done with scale 75 basic flesh.
    See what you think,
    Gells

Very nicely done. I like the tired, faraway look in the eyes.

This has turned out really well mate, great weary look on the face and the leather has just the right amount of wear.

Great work!! The leather looks great and the whole figure looks really elegant. The colours also feel very well balanced: dark and light tones, flesh tones... a lot to learn here.

Fantastic - as others have said, the eyes and face are just full of character, and the coat looks wonderful (y)

Doing mine the same because I don't really like the black boxart, I do believe the binoculars are incorrect though, the broad bits at the bottom are rubber coated so I don't think the brass is quite right.
I'll be painting my binocs black to contrast with the grey coat, but for the Life Mins Sea Wolf I'll be painting binocs grey to contrast with his shirt and top. Richtblinker%20Adler%207x50H%201.png Leitz_7x50_ww2_P1018026_-_Kopie.jpg

Turned out beautiful! That's going to be one happy collector.

The scarf lends just the right amount of contrast, I like that (y)!

    Hi Bogusman,

Thanks very much for your comments.

I'd perhaps do a bit more research next time before pointing out what you think is incorrect.

The pictures below are just two of lots I have which clearly show worn brass at the ends.

    Appreciate the gesture though;).

Looking forward to seeing your version.

    Gells
