Rising prices

So we're being warned that due to skyrocketing energy prices, the prices of pretty much everything else is set to skyrocket as well. Except that when oil & gas prices tank again (which they inevitably will at some point) it never works the other way does it?

Fuel at the pumps goes down a bit (eventually), but all of the other price rises are pretty much permanent because these "factors" only ever seem to work in one direction. A 15% increase in the price of something "due to rising energy costs" is never matched by a 15% drop when energy costs fall by the same amount. Maybe 1 or 2%. Perhaps as much as 5% if we're lucky. But never 15.

    Most annoying and vexing.

Also: 4-pack of small (33cl) Leffe Blonde is now £5.50 (up from £5) in Morrisons but still£5.00 in ASDA or £9.o0 for 2 .... another no-brainer.

I used to like Morrisons but in recent months it seems to have gone a bit rubbish: Much more expensive and less stock (at least in our local branch).

Indeed, once their prices rise, they never go down to the previous prices!

Now, wait for the food shortages... Which already started for some products, and according to some analysts will increase in the short term, and soon the supermarket shells will look quite empty...

Many people are now starting to grow their own food (no meat, but veggies mainly), even indoors. Prepare now, as the worst is not here yet, but it's coming...

Of course... The problem is that RT just published those memes, which are made by... Americans... not made in Russia... So, should we conclude that these are made by American trolls, and published by RT?...

If you had watched the video before commenting, it would have avoided that your bias towards RT makes your comment look pretty much like a troll comment...

Tom and Jerry was made by Americans, but that doesn’t make their statements true. :)
